River Styrn

The River Stryn located in Western Norway approximately 5 hours drive from Bergen offers excellent big fish water for those seeking large salmon and sea trout. The river runs through one of the most scenic regions of the country with one of Europe's most famous glaciers, the Briksdalsbreen glacier nearby. The beat fished includes 4km of double bank fishing on 24 named pools. Accommodation is in the nearby Visnes Hotel and Villa which dates back to the mid 1800's providing a rich Norwegian cultural experience.

Fly Odyssey offers prime weeks in July fishing the River Styrn and the River Aaelva. These are hosted by Finnish angler Toni Karuvaara and are suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers.
