We have had a great deal of interest in fly fishing Christmas Island and will be organising another hosted trip to the remote coral atoll in March 2009. Christmas island offers the opportunity to experience some of the best bonefishing in the Pacific ocean and has the advantage of being a mixed fishery with Giant and bluefin trevally available along with triggerfish and pelagic species like yellowfin tuna and sailfish just outside the lagoon. Fly fishing Isle De Juventud, Cuba - June 2009

Fly Odyssey has secured a prime week fly fishing the remote waters of Isle De Juventud in Cuba. Seychelles Fly Fishing: Farquhar Atoll 2008/09

We are pleased to be able to offer 2 trips to the Seychelles in 2008/09. This live-aboard trip will be to the remote waters of Farquhar Atoll. Farquhar offers some of the best Giant trevally fishing in the world. Also one offer are bonefish, triggerfish, Indo-pacific permit and the powerful milkfish. There is very little pressure on this fishery and the dates set ensure you will have the entire atoll to yourself. You will be based on the 73 foot motorised catamaran MZ Illusions, which provides air conditioned comfort.

Fly fishing Baja Peninsula

Hosted Trip: New Caledonia 31st July- 7th August

This is a fly fishing opportunity not to be missed. Spend a week fly fishing the remote northern waters of New Caledonia for the trophy bonefish and huge giant trevally found on the expansive flats of St Phalle and Balabio. This week has been selected as providing the prime spring tidal regime that opens up access to flats that receive no fly fishing pressure. You will be fishing for bonefish in excess of 10 lb each and every day.

This trip will be hosted by one of Australia's finest saltwater fly fishermen, Peter Morse. Author of Saltwater fly fishing fundamentals Peter has fished and filmed in New Caledonia on numerous occasions and his experience fishing these northern waters will be immeasurable to the group. The group will be staying at the quaint beachfront bungalows of Relais De Poingam where local seafoods and game provide an outstanding menu.

Isla Holbox: Giant Tarpon Fly Fishing

Fly Odyssey has secured a prime week in May at Isla Holbox Lodge, Mexico coinciding with the migration of Giant Tarpon through the Gulf of Mexico. This week will see you fishing to trophy Tarpon in excess of 100lb with fish up to 200lb encountered in previous seasons. There will be sight fishing opportunities in these crystal clear waters as you find schools of migrating fish rolling on the surface and feeding on sardine bait balls.

Based in Lumsden this week will see you fishing the famous Mataura river and tributries providing some of the best brown trout fishing in the world.
