British Columbia: Kalum River Lodge

The Skeena river system is world famous for its runs of Pacific salmon and steelhead. The Skeena has a huge amount of fishable water and a number of high quality tributaries and wilderness sections which means you will be constantly fishing new and unfished water. The nearby rivers of the Nass and Kitimat ensure that during a week’s stay you will not even scratch the surface of the possibilities available. These rivers all experience exceptional runs of Pacific salmon and the Skeena reportedly receives the largest run of steelhead in the world.

Due to the nature of these rivers they lend themselves to many of those techniques used when fishing for Atlantic salmon. The use of double handed rods and spey casting is the norm on the larger rivers while the smaller tributaries are ideal for those who love using a single hander. We work closely with Kalum River Lodge which provides an ideal base for a week’s fishing on the Skeena.

Fly Odyssey offers both group and the most competitive bespoke packages available to Kalum River Lodge.
