In the deep South of Patagonian Chile you find the Asyen region. An area surrounded by the high mountainous peaks of the Andes and scoured by many rivers. Near the capital of the region, Coyhaique, you will find two of the finest lodges in South America. Cincos Rioss lodge and its sister property Estancia El Zorro offers such a diverse week of fly fishing that you will be hard pressed to find any where else in the world. Cincos Rioss sits over looking the world famous Rio Simpson and has access to another dozen rivers locally. They specialize in jet-boating into remote stretches to wade fish and driftboating the larger waterways.

Chile: Estancia El Zorro

Estancia El Zorro is a 15,000 hectare sheep station that has some of the best spring creek fishing in the country. The extensive spring creek is home to big wild brown trout and this draws anglers from around the world. A short drive will have you on a number of freestone streams that hold both brown and rainbow trout. The Estancia itself will provide a real glimspe of Chilean life in the Andes. The property has a population of the rare Andean Condor which can be viewed close up and also offers horseback campout trips for a truly remote experience.
