Casa Blanca and Playa Blanca are two unique lodges located in the heart of one of the best saltwater fly fishing locations on the planet. For those who want to catch Permit on fly there is no better place to spend a week, or a month in pursuit of these fish. Combine the world’s best permit fishery with extensive bonefish and tarpon habitat and you end up with the ideal location for anglers in search of the saltwater fly fishing Grand slam.

The lodge at Casa Blanca is ideally located, right on the Southern shore of Ascension Bay on the private island of Punta Pajerros. This means no long runs to the flats, it is just a matter of getting into the flats skiff and start fishing. Playa Blanca is in the unique situation of being able to access the remote and virtually unfished waters of Espiritu Santo Bay. This bay offers the tantalising proposition on huge numbers of naive, unpressured Permit and therefore is a must visit destination for all Permit fishermen. Both lodges offer an excellent array of Mexican cuisine and large, open and well appointed rooms. The pristine white sand beach makes either location ideally for non-fishing partners who like to read a book in the sun.

Fly Odyssey run hosted trips to the Casa Blanca each April. We can arrange bespoke travel or a combination trip with the nearby Campeche and Isla Holbox for tarpon fishing or the Riviera Maya for those wanting to combine the fishing with a family holiday.
