Some of the world's best fly-fishing locations can be found on the Bahamas, with a 100,000-square-mile archipelago that extends over 500 miles of the clearest water in the world. The 700 Bahamian islands of the Caribbean, including a multitude of uninhabited sand cays and islands provide some of the best saltwater fly-fishing environments available. The Bahamas are famed for their bonefish, permit and tarpon and anglers from throughout the world flock here to experience the excitement of casting a fly at these three remarkable fish. Floating along quietly on the front of a poled flats boat or wading and stalking the flats of the Bahamas will provide encounters with bonefish, permit, tarpon, jacks and barracuda that will create a saltwater fly-fishing addiction.
Fly Odyssey has come up with a range of Bahamas fly-fishing destinations, from the ultimate lodge experiences to unique adventures that won't break the bank. We have tried to develop trips to the region that enable all fly fishermen keen to experience the thrill of flats fly-fishing the opportunity to do so. We are continually developing new trips to the region and have developed relationships with local guides throughout the Bahamas so please give us a call if you plan on visiting the region on a dedicated fly-fishing trip or that family beach holiday.
