The sea run brown trout fishery of Tierra Del Fuego has possibly the biggest sea run brown trout found anywhere in the world. There are also prolific brown, rainbow and brook trout fisheries scattered along the Andean spine of the country, where huge numbers of rivers, streams, lakes and creeks provide an ideal habitat for these introduced species. For something a little different the Northern provinces of Argentina has a unique fishery for the famous Dorado, the golden, powerful fish that is a great freshwater fly rod species.

Any visit to Argentina will provide a magnificent cultural experience with fine wine, food and spectacular scenery. The windswept plains of Tierra Del Fuego to the snow capped mountains of the Andes create a sense of being in a truly wild place. Rio Grande: Sea Run Brown Trout

Fly fishing for sea run brown trout in Tierra Del Fuego is a quest that each fly fisherman dreams of one day undertaking. Fly Odyssey offers early season and prime season sea-run trout fishing on the Rio Grande. We work with the world renown Auriela Lodge that lies between the Rio Grande and the Menendez River.

The 36000 acre sheep farm has exclusive 8 miles of frontage on the Rio Grande plus 15 miles of frontage on the Rio Menendez. The lodge can accommodate up to 12 anglers and enjoys spacious well appointed rooms. The average fish range between 6-22 pounds with fish exceeding 30 lb being taken each season. The indoor bar and barbeque area make a great place to discuss the days sea trout experiences.

Ushuaia: Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout

Fly fishing around the most southern city in the world, Ushuaia, provides a unique landscape sculptured by the sub-polar oceanic climate of the region. These cold southern waters are home to some fantastic fly fishing for wild brown, rainbow and brook trout. Our fly fishing packages offer a diversity lake and river fishing and some small river sea trout fishing. Your trip to Ushuaia will see you fishing the hidden lake, Lago Escondido, taking a boat trip into Lago Fagnano, dry fly fishing the Margarita lagoons and wading the Rio Ewan for sea run browns.

Fly Fishing Lake Kruger

Patagonia offers a diverse range of fly fishing opportunities for brown, rainbow and brook trout and landlocked salmon. Lake Kruger in the Los Alerecs National Park offers some of the finest fishing for these salmonid species. Fishing out of Lake Kruger Lodge, a stunning log building you will have access to the 360 hectare lake itself as well as many of its feeder streams and creeks with the nearby Rio Frey providing exceptional dry fly fishing in a stunning wilderness setting.

Primarily brown and rainbow trout fisheries the rivers Limay, Pichileufu, Manso and Caleufu provide the opportunity to float fish to remote stretches or walk and wade. We can tailor your package to Bariloche to suit your preferred method of fishing. Bariloche offers an ideal location for a family holiday or dedicated fly fishing trip.

Fly Fishing Esquina, Corrientes

Located on the southwest corner of the Corrientes province, 650 kms north of Buenos Aires, Esquina is an unknown destination for most anglers. Here you will find a unique fly rod target known as the tiger of the river, golden salmon or more commonly named the Dorado. The Dorado is a voracious predator that is a powerful fighter that readily accepts flies. You will spend your week staying in a first class lodge situated on the banks of the Rio Corrientes. From the lodge you have access to both the rivers Corrientes and Parana, prime Dorado waters. For a unique fly fishing experience or combining a two week trip to Argentina with some trout fishing and a week fishing Dorado is a fly odyssey you will long remember.
