Zapata Peninsula, Cuba – 2018 Hosted trip with Sean Clarke

We are pleased to return to the Zapata Peninsula aboard the Georgiana for the third year running. This region famous for being a UNESCO recognised biosphere in western Cuba is in its second year operating as a live aboard experience. Our clients enjoyed excellent fly fishing last November for permit, bonefish and tarpon with several grand slams landed amongst our groups.  There will be 6 full days guided fishing, with 3 days fishing from a single occupancy skiff and 3 days from a double occupancy skiff.

The boat is berthed 2/3 hours from Havana, and the program will start by flying into Varedero on Saturday, overnight there before being transferred to the Georgina early on Sunday when your fishing week will begin.

Return will be on the following Saturday morning for evening international flight.
